It is evident from practical government public administration in Maldives, a coalition government is not popular among citizens of the country and is not a suitable form in a presidential system which people have voted for. Mr Yameen faces the same obstacles which were faced by Mr Nasheed due to formation of coalition government. DRP, previously has played a vital role in Maldives politics , even today people believe is not paralyzed yet, just it need a more strategic direction to be erected to be in the forefront politics of the country.
The spread of news that Mr Maumoon, and Mr Nasheed (Kernal) has met to discuss the future of DRP goes viral in the media as there are conflict of interests between Mr Maumoon and President Yameen in running the PPM government. However, the truth is that despite the oldage, the popularity of Mr Maumoon has not yet declined yet. There are still many loyal political figures to Mr Maumoon , who can be trusted in politics.
Does this means DRP will return? if Yes , who will be the leader, ? Will Thasmeen again Join DRP? How about Mr Shahid?
