Mass protests everywhere in the country.

The duress resignation of President Nasheed, burned the fire of hatredness among his advocates and allies across the country which later resulted in mass protests on streets. Several police stations and magistrate courts and other public offices has been on fire and demolished, where the MDP supporters believed strongly that the rule of law in not prevailing in the country. 

To be in support with President Nasheed, hundreds of MDP allies protested on streets yesterday evening in Ihavandhoo peacefully with banners and posters stating that the recent government is unlawful and unconstitutional and the President cannot be forced to resign at gun point. The protestors demand the resignation of Dr. Waheed immediately and the transfer of power from Dr. Waheed to Honorable Speaker of the  Parliament and to held fair election with in two months. The atoll council members and island council members also have taken part in this rally. 

It has also been said that now Dr. Waheed is struggling to assemble a cabinet. So far a number of people approached  has declined to join in his Cabinet as ministerial post including  Sunland Hilmy, Dr. Samad, Famous lawyer Husnu Suood, Solaah Shihab, Dr. Sawaad and Dr. Aamaal. However, sources said that Dr. Mausoom and his family is in support with Dr. Waheed.
